Kenneth George Jr.[1] is an American college student and former college basketball player known for his great height. Somewhere between 7 ft 7 in (2.31 m)[1][2][3] and 7 ft 9 in (2.36 m),[4][5][6] he was the tallest basketball player in the United States during the two years he played for his college team, the University of North Carolina at Asheville Bulldogs,[2] and may have been the tallest player in the history of college basketball.[7]
In the 2007-08 season, George had a 69.6% field goal percentage.[8]
In October 2008, George had his right foot partly amputated due to a Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection.[3]
